Brendan Kirsch’s accomplishments in the world of sports film have earned him acclaim throughout the industry. Today, Kirsch is highly sought after for his company’s services. A member of the Directors Guild of America, he directs sports draped programming and features; 2nd unit directs sports sequences; coordinates sports action and is also the head of physical production for all projects developed under the SportsArc Entertainment banner.

Before his arrival in Hollywood a decade ago, Kirsch was a college basketball coach. He was on the men’s staffs at Cedar Valley College (Texas); Bluefield College (Virginia); and Ball State University (Indiana). After being a part of these programs and accumulating 86 wins over four seasons of college basketball, Kirsch was approached by executives in Los Angeles who had an interest in using his talents to choreograph basketball for film and television.

Brendan Kirsch was contracted as a “sports technical advisor” for a number of films and coordinating groups. During this time, he compared the techniques of these productions and his peers within the industry. He felt there was a better way to shoot sports scenes that would result in a more authentic and dynamic finished product, as well as reduce a production’s overall cost and the time committed to sports action days. Over the years, Kirsch developed and perfected a process for shooting sports sequences. This process is what SportsArc incorporates today.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kirsch has a daughter, Gracie Elizabeth, and is married to Lisa Goldstein. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
